The artist who was awarded in the Painting category of the 71st State Painting and Sculpture Museum Competition held in 2012, describes her art with the following words:
‘’I create my works as deceitful reflections of reality, not only with the presence of emotions and imagery, but also based on the intellectual comprehension of feelings. By deliberately rendering an already existing reality “blurry” and “obscure” with the use of the medium, I aim at clarifying the way in which identity becomes part of the artwork and thus discovers its own existence.”
